Recent Changes
----------------

With the new implementation of SETS (Effectivly allowing a subtype catagorie) "GIS Nature" can finally be moved out of 'ELEMENTAL" and back into "ORGANIC" where it really belongs.

Organic-GIS-[race/character-name]

Also, we've expanded it out to an experimental 5 characters detailing the different forms that GIS takes in its life-cycle.

Regarding the Life-cycle, well thats what makes this race begin to get interesting. From the developing EMP campaign we can expand on the origional placeholder.
GIS have a MV of 0, yes they cannot move, instead they remain static and grow in power and size over time (or specialising in specific tasks). Additionally they gain a large ATR (Reach) score to compensate.

A Campaign is in development that uses the GIS influence to spread amongs botanical life in the terrain. Effectivly a GIS can reach from any point or plante region they exist on. If plant life covers the whole map, the GIS can attack ANYWHERE on the whole map.
Also, large GIS and those created to reproduce can spawn a new character next to them of lesser power. A Spawner can spawn upto 2R away. Order of power is based on value scores.

A more detailed bio will be present when CAIX launches (eventually!) and the player guide book
will give a greater background and further ideas.

IXTP has been moved over to the IXTK pages. It just made more sense that way :)

Also, we've gotten around to the power level lists for:

SOUND
ANTILIFE
OMNIWAVE
MAGNETIC
GRAVITY
PRESSURE
PLANES
POWER

Yes, 1 thru 5 are now avaliable....

But what about the AI-BLAST you ask ? Well, its a specialist attack and we'll be moving it to ABILITIES soon.

Also note that EMP has been moved over to the 5th level of the new Attack type of: Magnetics!

This new Attack Type is designed to combat mechanical life, and can have interesting effects on technology, especially anything Giran based (since they/we make our stuff a certian way)

I'ld like to mention BUILDS and SIZES once more, as I feel they mark one of the important changes from 8.x to 9.x.

Builds gouvern the appearence any form of a creature, and can be used to expand and restrict actions. eg: now only humaniods can use humaniod weapons, how in 8.x an amorphic blob of goo could weild a longsword is beyond me :P

SIZE will eventually expand on a SIZE vs SIZE basis, but for now they are used as guides if a character can enter the play field. You can no longer fight a Solar object like a sun with the Banshee inside the G'Laric Temple :P

In saying that, weapons have yet to have SIZE added.... must get around to that.

----

Final note, it does indeed appear they some people are experimenting with an ALCHEMY system :) Since characters are more able to interact with objects (PICK THEM UP AND MOVE EM!) A campaign where ingredients can be used to form solutions to the game will be made.

1) Create a potion to confise/daze/seduce the 'boss-monster' and convince them to let you win
2) Create a potion that blows up the core reactor, Yeah! TNT!
3) Create a potion that enables you to avoid the traps and flick off the "BLOW UP EARTH" button.

Well, you get the idea: its hard to think up single line stuff that doesn't sound corny.

But hell, Item creation is where this leads to!

I dont wanna go full on RPG style with this thing, it is meant to have a basic core, but certianly an expanding module could give scores for strength and intelligence required to preform these things.
