UPDATES: 18 04 2006

Okay, so I have not said much. Uni work + Holidays = Not much Time !

----

IX-WEAPONS editing has begun, we've scrapped the 34 list we had and are beginning again from scratch.

AT*2
AT/2

Are no longer options, all they did was add to complexety and were greatly underused in the end, with the exception of some high level weapons that didn't really need them.

Range now has integer values, and no longer allows for d.5 rates

Styles are still in, they will come in use for armor when it gets added

Types are now what the weapon is mainly made off e.g: a short piece of metal on a long wooden rod will be classed as WOOD. Rather than what was used to make contact.

At the moment, Types area subclass of Styles, this will likley change since each style can have each type of... TYPE (e.g. WOOD can be found in FORCE, PIERCE, SLICE etc...)

AT-T2 is no gone! GOOD!

In its place we have SPECIAL , which gives special powers (will likley be remaned ATTRIBUTES to keep it in line with other content and not be confused with the SPECIAL cards)

Also, REQUIRE is now an option, to be used for complex technologies or multiunit operators.

And a big thankyou to Wikipedia folks for having obscene lists of stuff you can hurt others with :P

IX-GALATICS

Joins IX-ALCHEMY as a dev project, it will aim to proive a galatic mapping to give the user access to:

A description of the place (Star system, Planet, Colony, Plane)
Playable Inhabitants
Playable BattleMaps, Scenerios and Campaigns

In theory, it will go a bit like this:

click on the ORI tab (list all ori data)
click on the Ghiran domain (list all Ghiran data)
click on Sol System (list all Sol data)
click on Earth (list all Earth data)
click on New-Isles (list all new-isle data)
click on G'Laric Temple (list G'Laric temple)
click on campaigns (list all campaigns relating to the G'Laric Temple)

There will be a limit to how many levels deep things will be listed, in some cases. e.g campaigns will only be found when you zoom into an area close to them. The above mentioned G'Laric campaign (yes it will be included :P) will be found on the Earth data map, but not the Sol map.
